Abi Eveleigh is an SEL Specialist with the Urban Assembly in New York. Abi grew up in Hertford, England and moved to the US to complete her masters degree in Developmental Neuroscience and Psychopathology at University College London and Yale University. Following graduation, she decided to stay in the US and worked as a Postgraduate Associate at the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence, where her work specialized in how educators were using social and emotional learning to support students with learning differences. Prior to joining UA, Abi also worked as a Lab Manager at NYU’s LEARN Lab, exploring child language development. She is excited to be on Project Flourish working alongside YCEI and ToH to dive into how SEL is serving all students in the classroom.
